As announced at the release event, iPhone 4S become available in other 22 countries (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland)at the end of October. The delivery time for the users who decided to order ahead iPhone 4S was one or two weeks.

The great availability with carriers, domestic and worldwide, makes form iPhone 4S not only a desired handset but also within reach for most users who so far didn’t have access to the newest iPhone so close to the release moment. Under the circumstances, Apple officials and analysts alike predict that iPhone 4S sales during the holiday season will probably reach to an unprecedented level.

iPhone 4S sales broke records immediately after it become available. Apple announced a whopping 4 million sales in the first weekend of availability. That was more than double the record that iPhone 4 registered a year ago, with 1.7 million handsets sold in the first days. Tim Cook himself let slip a surprised reaction to the customers’ enthusiasm over iPhone 4S: “In our wildest dreams, we couldn’t have got off to a better start than we did with the iPhone 4S”.
